The former Shimizu Cultural Center was reborn into Shimizu Cultural Hall in August 2012. The hall also known as Marinart, is a venue with a friendly atmosphere, for citizens to enjoy all kinds of entertainment such as Opera, Classic Ballet, Concerts, Musicals, and so on.

3. No-fee for elementary and Jr.High Students, senior citizens age 70+ and disability passbook holders and one assistant who live in Shizuoka-city. |

清水マリナート/Shimizu Marinart
老朽化した清水文化センターを建て替え、2012年8月に開館。オペラやバレエ、コンサート、ミュージカル等の多様な文化活動に誰もが気軽に集い憩える施設。
新しい街と港の都市景観のシンボルとして建設された静岡市清水文化会館、愛称『マリナート』。
設計は槇総合計画事務所・大成建設設計共同企業体により手掛けられ、文化活動の場と高次高質な芸術文化の鑑賞機会を市民に提供する ことで、しずおか文化を創造するとともに、文化事業をとおしての清水都心の賑わ い創出を図ることを目的としています。
清水駅からそのまま2階に続くペデストリアンデッキに面してホワイエが設けられ、全面ガラス張りのファサードの奥に大小のホールを配置。
重層的にホールの周りに巡らした階段や展望ラウンジにより、港や富士山を眺める都市的な回遊性を創出しています。
