As well with that, people who love that area do promotions in order to spread the attractiveness of “Protecting Borough of the township at the foot of Mt.Fuji” to all over the world.

They sell “Renge Rice” reaped from fields of Chinese milk vetch flowers in the area.

「富士山×新幹線」を望む田園風景、この場所だけにある景色を後世に残すために。

富士市東部地区には、「富士山×新幹線」を望む田園風景があり、全国から多くのカメラマンが押し寄せるビュースポットとなっています。

この地区は「富士山のふもとの郷を守る邑（むら）」と呼ばれ、静岡県内に点在する「ふじのくに美しく品格のある邑（むら）づくり」のひとつとして、農業者と地域内外の人々が共に地域の将来を考えて行動し、その魅力を後世に残していくための取り組みを行なっています。

そのひとつとして毎年４月に行われているのが「富士山れんげまつり」。

かつて広がっていたれんげの絨毯を復活させたいとの想いで秋の種まきを行い、春の開花シーズンに合わせて富士山と新幹線を眺めながられんげ畑の中で食と音楽を楽しもう、というイベントです。また、れんげ畑で採れたお米を「れんげ米」として販売するなどのPRを通して、日本のふるさととも呼べるこの風景の魅力を世界に発信しています。
