“FRENCH SUMIBI SINQ” is a French restaurant located on the 1st floor of SOZOSYA KODO that serves you a French grilled cuisine with local ingredients.
SINQ was named after thinking “Simple”.
SINQ’s owner Mr.Hozaki said, “I like to fuse French with other national cuisine and styles. By which I would like to serve my customers with a variety of food.” and kept on saying, “And I’d like to build my own restaurant with my customers together.”.
SINQ only uses real fancy ingredients produced in Shizuoka which is a place surrounded by the total nature of the Pacific ocean and mountains.
In order to make the best of local fancy ingredients, SINQ’s menus are cooked with Japan Kishu Charcoal.
Then, under the owner’s purpose to energize customers with his food, he only uses fermented seasonings to make the ingredients healthy.
Most of all, the huge wine cellar at the back of the counter has a good number of fantastic wines and Japan Sake with which food menus are cooked to be in a marriage with.
The owner of SUMIBI FRENCH SINQ, Mr.Hozaki was a fellow student of SOZOSYA’s President, Mr.Yamanashi. They had talked about their cooperation before they opened SINQ and other OMACHI PROJECT tenants.
Mr.Hozaki worked at “Clematis no Oka” in Nagaizumi-cho, Sunto-gun, Shizuoka as a chef, then after a while, decided to open his own restaurant in Shizuoka-city.
Hitoyado-cho, Shizuoka-city has a sense of unity as new-open restaurants and shops are under the same flag of revitalizing the city with SOZOSYA. “I hope we will in cooperation with each other, make Hitoyado-cho very lively.”, he said.
